Juventus have made an offer of €25M for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.
Sancho has returned to Manchester United after spending last season on loan at Chelsea. The 25-year-old’s move was not made permanent after a failure to reach an agreement on personal terms, with Chelsea opting to pay a £5m penalty fee to get out of their obligation.
Several sides on the continent are interested in signing Sancho and Juventus have now formalised an approach.
Multiple reports in Italy have claimed the Bianconeri have submitted an offer of €25m (£21.3m) for Sancho, a fee that meets Manchester United’s asking price.
Journalist Marco Giordano has claimed Juventus will now aim to persuade Sancho to move to Turin, with the player more interested in a potential move to Napoli. The latter have been named as a potential destination for Sancho, if the player is willing to take a salary cut.
Juventus are keen to sign another wide player despite the expectation that Francisco Conceição’s loan move from FC Porto will be made permanent.
Sancho scored five times and provided 10 assists in all competitions for Chelsea last season and helped the West Londoners to Europa Conference League success. He spent the second half of the pervious season on loan at former club Borussia Dortmund.
