Juventus are tracking Anatoliy Trubin, but a move looks remote for now given the club’s current constraints.
According to Glorioso 1904, the Italians have held exploratory talks with the Ukrainian international’s representatives. He has been identified as a leading option to take the Bianconeri number one role in the coming seasons.
Juventus like his profile, seeing a goalkeeper who could deliver immediately while offering long-term stability.
The main obstacle is cost. Benfica will only entertain negotiations at around 40 million euros, and the Rui Costa-led board are unwilling to ease the exit of one of their most valuable assets.
For now, Juventus are not in a position to meet those demands, and their economic situation is forcing tighter market management. Trubin is therefore expected to remain at the Luz for the time being, with Benfica calm about his situation. Unless the Italians approach the asking price, any move is likely to remain at the level of interest.
