Randal Kolo Muani (26) will play for Juventus during the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, however, he will do so for a fee, L’Équipe understands.

Kolo Muani joined Juventus on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in January. It was a straight loan that ran until the end of the season. That does not include the inaugural Club World Cup, which starts later this week.

However, the club have confirmed that the France international will compete in the tournament with them. The Serie A side have had to pay PSG a fee, the value of which has not been revealed, in order to allow that.

Kolo Muani will therefore play for Juventus in the US, and perhaps into next season, too. Speaking while on international duty, the former FC Nantes and Eintracht Frankfurt forward revealed a desire to remain at the Turin-based club. The Italian side’s new CEO, Damien Comolli, has expressed a desire to retain the player, too. An agreement must be found with PSG to extend Kolo Muani’s stay. In any case, the Frenchman has no future at the Parc des Princes.
