Juventus are reportedly planning to land three big hitters during the summer transfer window, but are not looking for another overhaul in the playing staff after a series of high-profile arrivals in 2024.

Here are the areas where the Old Lady will look to improve and who they want to bring in.

Juventus plan three big summer transfer hits

According to Tuesday’s reports from Tuttosport, Juventus are looking to bring in three key, first-team level players during the summer transfer window, which could potentially become four depending on potential departures over the next few months.

Juventus already committed to spending well over €200m during the last summer transfer window under Thiago Motta, on the likes of Teun Koopmeiners, Douglas Luiz, Nico Gonzalez, plus a series of loans with future options and obligations to buy.

For that reason, the Bianconeri feel they already have a solid first-team squad to build upon, which means there isn’t expected to be a mass-recruitment drive in the next transfer window.

With Michele Di Gregorio having arrived from Monza last summer, and with Mattia Perin and Carlo Pinsoglio still under contract, there aren’t expected to be any changes in the goalkeeping department.

Not much is expected to change in defence either. Tuttosport suggests that the injured Bremer will be like a new signing for Juventus next season. The club also have a commitment to sign Lloyd Kelly permanently from Newcastle, and could look to sign Renato Veiga on new terms, but that is not expected to be a straight-forward negotiation.

In midfield, Newcastle’s Tonali remains the dream option. The Italy international is not expected to come cheap, and is therefore only a realistic option if the Bianconeri are either able to include Douglas Luiz in the deal, or if they are able to sell the Brazilian for a decent fee first, according to Tuesday’s report.

Then, Juventus will reportedly look to sign two high-profile attackers to improve their output in the final third. Dusan Vlahovic is increasingly likely to leave the Allianz Stadium this summer, while there are no guarantees either way surrounding Randal Kolo Muani’s future.

Juventus reportedly admire two Nigeria internationals in the form of Osimhen and Lookman. The former is expected to be sold by Napoli in the summer and has a release clause set at €75m for clubs outside Italy, which sets the benchmark for a potential Bianconeri bid.

Lookman could leave Atalanta in the summer, but La Dea will reportedly seek a fee in the region of €60m to let him go, according to recent reports elsewhere.

Manchester United striker and former Atalanta attacker Rasmus Hojlund also remains an enticing option for Juventus, but they are only likely to sign two forwards this window, according to Tuesday’s report.
