Juventus have joined the chase for Bernardo Silva and are ready to make him one of their highest earners as they try to lure the Portugal international to Turin following his confirmed Manchester City exit.

According to Glorioso 1904, the Italian club were the first to present a concrete project, opening early talks through Jorge Mendes and mapping out a plan in which Silva would be central to Luciano Spalletti’s side.

The process remains open, with the player asking for time and weighing other options, including financially powerful offers outside Europe. There is also indirect competition in Serie A, with clubs such as Benfica and Barcelona in the frame.

Financially, Juventus are prepared to push beyond their usual limits to secure the deal, with salary expectations in the region of eight to nine million euros per year, above the club’s typical wage ceiling.

This season for Manchester City, Silva, valued at €27 million, has made 44 appearances, 31 in the Premier League, eight in the Champions League, three in the League Cup and two in the FA Cup. Across 3,208 minutes, he has three goals and five assists.
