Juventus set their sights on €80 million-rated Real Madrid midfielder after missing out on Brahim Diaz | OneFootball

Italian giants Juventus are preparing for another rebuild under Luciano Spalletti after falling short of securing Champions League qualification. 

As a result, the club’s sporting department has begun identifying players capable of strengthening key areas of the squad.

After previously exploring the possibility of signing Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid, Juventus have now shifted their focus towards another member of the Spanish club’s squad.

This time, according to Mundo Deportivo, the player attracting attention is Eduardo Camavinga.

Camavinga remains one of the most talented midfielders in European football, but the French international has endured a difficult season in Madrid.

Although he was initially considered a key part of Xabi Alonso’s plans, his role within the squad became less prominent as the season progressed. 

A combination of increased competition and difficult moments on the pitch reduced his influence during key stages of the campaign.

As a result, questions have emerged regarding his immediate future, even though he remains under contract with Real Madrid until 2029.

Real Madrid are open to offers

Reports suggest that the Spanish club are not actively looking to sell the midfielder, but they could be willing to discuss his future if their €80 million price tag is matched. 

While a permanent transfer has been mentioned, a temporary departure is also being considered in some quarters.

In that context, Juventus are closely following the situation and view Camavinga as a player capable of significantly improving their midfield options ahead of next season.

The Serie A side believes they could offer the Frenchman an important role in the team, something that may appeal to him after a campaign in which regular opportunities were not always guaranteed.

At this stage, though, a permanent exit appears unlikely, as Camavinga remains committed to Real Madrid and has little interest in closing the door on his future. 

Despite attracting attention from several clubs, particularly in the Premier League, the midfielder is believed to be more open to a temporary solution than a full transfer.
