Inter Milan forward Marcus Thuram has faced criticism over a recent goal celebration, but his brother Khephren has rushed to his defense.
Speaking to DAZN via FCInterNews, the Juventus midfielder offered his verdict on the matter.
Marcus Thuram came under fire after ‘refusing’ to celebrate his goal in Inter’s controversial 4-3 defeat to Juventus in September.
Interestingly, Khephren was also on the scoresheet in that match.
Furthermore, the French midfielder has become a concrete target for the Nerazzurri ahead of the January transfer window.
However, Juventus have no interest in selling the former OGC Nice star.
Though the brothers could reunite at San Siro in the future, they were adversaries in September.
Khephren came out on top, while Marcus made Inter supporters furious with his strange behavior.
Indeed, it appeared as if he didn’t want to celebrate the goal, which put the Nerazzurri in front midway through the second half.

“A great moment, he scored a goal, I scored too, and in the end we won,” the Juventus superstar said.
“The celebration where I said ‘I am Thuram?’ Yes, because after the game, people said he didn’t celebrate, but that’s not true.
“I saw it. He went to the Juventus fans and showed them ‘I am Thuram,’ which made me angry… it was to respond to him.”
Meanwhile, Khephren also maintained his commitment to Juventus amid Inter’s interest.
“For me, Juventus are the best club in Italy, one of the best in the world,” the French ace said.
“It’s very special to play for the team my dad played for. It’s a beautiful story that my father played and won here.
“He was one of the best defenders to ever play here, and I hope I can also win one day wearing this shirt.
“Dad is a Juventus fan, but he’s also very happy that my brother plays for Inter; it was the right team for him, and Juventus were right for me.”
