Juventus were seconds away from a win at Lecce, but the hosts fought back for a 1-1 draw on Sunday.

Scorer: Rebić 90+3'; Cambiaso 68'

Juventus ran the show in terms of possession and genuinely should have had a handful of goals to their name after the first half.

Khéphren Thuram hit the post, Francisco Conceição hit the same post from range and Tim Weah saw a rebounded effort ruled out for offside. Their finishing touch was missing over the 90 minutes of action.

Lecce, however, didn't need the majority of possession to test the visitors. Their form in front of goal was better than Juventus', with five of eight efforts on target led by Nikola Krstović and Patrick Dorgu.

With just the one shot on by nearly the 70-minute mark for the Bianconeri, it looked like another draw was lingering for Motta's men.

That was until an unlikely hero rose to the occasion. Left-back Andrea Cambiaso struck a curling effort with his left foot, which deflected in to break the deadlock.

But then Lecce returned to show Juventus that it was all about putting efforts on target as the visitors stepped off the gas.

A late drive from Krstović into the box found Ante Rebić at the back post and he blasted home the equaliser at the death as fans erupted.

The result means Juventus have drawn over half of their Serie A games (eight) and sit six points away from leaders Napoli in sixth.

Lecce, meanwhile, earned a vital point in their bid to avoid relegation.
