Arsenal attacker Kai Havertz is targeting a return to action for the Gunners this month.
The German is reportedly pushing hard to make an appearance before the year ends.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be cautious about rushing Havertz back into action after he suffered a relapse last month.
However, having him back before the end of the month will be a considerable boost.
The 26-year-old has not played since the opening weekend of the season. While the Gunners have done well in his absence, they could do with his return right now.
Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Jesus are both available as striking options to Arteta, while Mikel Merino continues to prove his versatility, having become a makeshift number nine,
Having Havertz also available will be huge, as he offers something different to the other three players.
Arsenal return to action on Saturday with a trip to Merseyside to take on Everton before hosting Crystal Palace in the quarter-final of the League Cup.
They wrap up Premier League action for 2025 with home league games against Brighton & Hove Albion and Aston Villa.
Havertz being available for those games will give Arteta much-needed options as Arsenal strive to end the year on a high note.
