On loan from Palmeiras, goalkeeper Kaique Pereira now leads the Liga Portugal penalty save rankings after stopping a Benfica spot-kick at the weekend.
According to Nosso Palestra, the saved effort came from Pavlidis, taking him to three penalties kept out this season, ahead of Diogo Costa and Trubin in the competition.
He had already thwarted two Tondela penalties earlier in the campaign, both in the same match.
Despite Nacional's 2-0 defeat to Benfica, Kaique made six saves in total and received an 8.8 rating on SofaScore.
Kaique is on loan at CD Nacional until June and has made 23 appearances. This is his second season in Portugal, having featured for Farense in 2024/25.
Before taking up his latest loan, he signed a new Palmeiras contract running to 2030. A graduate of Palmeiras' academy, he played 77 matches and won eight youth titles, including the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 and state championships. He also has a South American Under-20 title with Brazil.
