Bad news for FC Bayern: Harry Kane has suffered an injury with the national team, and those responsible in Munich are reacting immediately – also with a view to the clash against Real Madrid
FC Bayern have to worry about Harry Kane. The 32-year-old was injured in training with the England national team and has been ruled out for the friendly against Japan. This was confirmed by the English FA shortly before the match
National team coach Thomas Tuchel explained the situation in more detail: „It’s a minor injury that came out of nowhere – it just happened. He had to pull out of training yesterday after 15 minutes. He won’t be playing. He will now be examined further and will be watching in the stadium.“
There is no time to lose at Säbener Straße. Kane is expected back in Munich on Wednesday, according to tz, and will be examined immediately by the club doctors. FC Bayern are planning their own medical checks to quickly clarify the severity of the injury
The caution is no coincidence: just a few weeks ago, Kane was already struggling with a calf injury, and those responsible are now handling the situation with corresponding sensitivity
Tuchel also hinted that the injury is not completely harmless: „It’s serious enough that he can’t play. We’ll have to wait for further examinations.“
The timing of the injury could hardly be more inopportune, with the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid coming up next week – and Kane is the central fixture in Vincent Kompany’s system in attack

The loss of the goalscorer would weaken Bayern considerably, and the tension at the record champions is correspondingly high
It remains to be seen whether Kane will be fit in time for the clash with Real Madrid, but one thing is clear: FC Bayern will not take any risks – and is now doing everything in its power to quickly gain certainty about the health of its top goalscorer.
