Former West Brom forward Karlan Grant has joined Championship rivals Charlton on a two-year deal after rejecting an offer to stay with the Baggies.
In a social media message, the 28-year-old thanked supporters as he said goodbye after six years, reflecting on highs and lows and wishing WBA success for the future.
Grant came through Charlton’s academy and made nearly 100 senior appearances after breaking through as a teenager.
He later moved to Albion from Huddersfield in 2020 on a six-year contract, scoring 35 goals in 173 games.
Although Albion offered fresh terms to keep him at The Hawthorns, it had long appeared he would move on this summer.
The Baggies have already bolstered their attack with Barney Stewart and Jimmy-Jay Morgan.
