Kiwior set for FC Porto: buy clause due by end of May

Officially announced as an FC Porto signing on loan from Arsenal on 1 September last year, Kiwior has for quite some time now been regarded as a permanent FC Porto player. Although the purchase clause still has to be triggered and the deal formally completed, Porto’s hierarchy realized early on that there was no way around paying the €17 million to the Gunners for the player, a figure that could still be joined by a further €5 million based on objectives.

With the deadline to activate that clause set for the end of May, the Dragons still have time to get everything in order. There is no pressure, since all parties are already aligned on the next step, which will see Kiwior tied to FC Porto for several years.
