Kobbie Mainoo 'ruled out for a few weeks' in fresh Man Utd injury blow | OneFootball

Manchester United are set to be without Kobbie Mainoo for “a few weeks” with an unspecified injury according to The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell.

The 19-year-old midfielder was taken off in the 3-0 loss at home to Tottenham at the end of September, but did play against both Porto and Aston Villa.

However, he then pulled out of the England squad for the friendlies with Greece and Finland, and is now set for an extended spell on the sidelines.

It is the latest injury concern for United, with Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro already out, and both Noussair Mazraoui and Manuel Ugarte doubtful for Saturday’s visit of Brentford.

The Moroccan defender did train on Thursday though, as did Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo.

The Bees will come to Old Trafford with Erik ten Hag under serious pressure following a very poor start to the season.
