Kramarić on victory over Dortmund: "In the end we had a bit of luck" | OneFootball

Netting a brace against Dortmund to bring TSG Hoffenheim back into contention for the Champions League places, Andrej Kramarić was overjoyed with the 2-1 win. 

“We played a fantastic first half and were also clever in the second half. In the end, we had a bit of luck and won," the Croatian said in his the mixed zone at full-time.

“For me, the victory was deserved. We'll keep pushing hard in the last four matchdays. We want to get points to qualify for international competition next season,” he added.

Although he was the game's hero for the home side, the veteran striker underlined the difficulty of going up against former teammate Gregor Kobel in the BVB goal. 

"Those were two very important penalties. It wasn't easy for me to take them against Gregor Kobel. We used to play together and always had a penalty bet after training.

“The pressure was high today, but I've taken plenty of penalties. These are three very important points,” Kramaric added, as Hoffenheim move to within two points of the top four.
