Eintracht Frankfurt lost 3-1 at Hoffenheim, with sporting director Markus Krösche acknowledging the slump and urging patience and belief during a difficult spell.
According to BuLi News, Krösche described it as a difficult phase, noting last season brought many highs but this one has turned. He felt Frankfurt were steady for a spell, then after the equaliser the game went against them.
He said confidence dipped once they conceded, with fewer balls won and belief fading. He accepted those responsible for the sporting side are accountable. He also recognised the fans’ frustration, adding supporters expect success and attractive football.
Krösche called for composure and consistent work on problems, insisting the team can be successful again. He stressed the squad’s quality and said they would come through this period and restore belief.
Can Uzun expressed disappointment, saying the level is not good enough right now and a lack of confidence and freedom is feeding into results.
Defender Robin Koch pointed to recurring errors, saying the same mistakes of recent weeks persist and the side are not present in decisive moments. He felt belief is missing, and that is when matches are lost.
