Mohammed Kudus wants to join Tottenham Hotspur from West Ham with the winger giving priority to Thomas Frank’s side.

Spurs have seen an opening bid for Kudus turned down, believed to be worth in the region of £50m. West Ham are willing to sell Kudus to raise funds for their summer transfer business but value the Ghana international at higher than that figure.

Tottenham are set to return with a new bid and want to accelerate their move for Kudus, amid rival interest from Chelsea and other clubs.

Chelsea have made contact with Kudus’s camp in recent days and Spurs are aware of competition for his signature. Chelsea consider Kudus as a potential replacement for Noni Madueke, who is in talks with Arsenal.

Manchester United have also been offered the chance to sign Kudus but are focused on a deal for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.

However, Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Kudus is not negotiating with other clubs as he’s giving priority to Tottenham.

Kudus is keen to quit West Ham for European football, following a disappointing individual and collective season at the London Stadium.

The 24-year-old netted just five times as West Ham ended the campaign 14th in the Premier League table. He had netted 14 goals in all competitions during his debut season with the Hammers in 2023/24. Since arriving in the Premier League, Kudus has built a reputation as one of the league’s best dribblers. No player in the division has completed more dribbles over the last two campaigns.

Should he complete a move to Spurs, Kudus will become the first player to move directly between the London rivals since Scott Parker in 2011.
