Norwich City beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 at Carrow Road to climb from 18th to 17th in the Championship.

In the ninth minute Mohamed Touré went off injured and Mathias Kvistgaarden came on. The substitute then glanced in the opener (31.) after first hitting the bar moments earlier.

Edmond-Paris Maghoma doubled the lead with a low finish to the bottom right (38.), converting Jacob Wright's pass.

Seny Dieng made four saves for the Owls, including from Ali Ahmed in the first half. Vladan Kovacevic needed one stop as the Canaries kept control.
