Kylian Mbappé drops status hint ahead of Real Madrid vs Getafe | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Friday dropped something of a hint regarding his status for the club’s next outing.

Frontman Mbappé’s fitness has of course been a major source of concern for those of a Blancos persuasion across the week to date.

This comes after the 26-year-old was forced into a premature departure from national team duty with France.

After suffering a relapse of a previous ankle injury, Mbappé was sent back to Spain’s capital to begin his recovery under the watch of the Real Madrid medical staff.

The in-form goalscorer, however, was before today a notable absentee from all group activities at Valdebebas.

As much saw his status for this weekend’s meeting between the La Liga leaders and Getafe thrown into serious doubt.

But if the latest social media activity on Mbappé’s part is anything to go by, then those of a Blancos persuasion need not fret.

After being spotted back out on the grass this morning, the former PSG man took to his official Instagram account, to write:

‘On to Sunday. Hala Madrid!’
