According to a report from SPORT, Barcelona are set to face serious competition for rising talent Etta Eyong, as several clubs have already shown interest in the Levante forward.
However, the Catalan giants remain optimistic, as the player himself is believed to be willing to wait for Barcelona before making any final decision about his next move.
Eyong has become one of the breakout stars in La Liga this season, quickly attracting attention from top clubs in Spain and abroad.
Levante are aware that keeping hold of the player will be difficult beyond this campaign, with sporting director Hector Rodas openly admitting that there is already significant interest in the youngster.
“There has already been interest. He is going to be an important player in the market,” he confirmed.
The current transfer agreement between Levante and Villarreal makes a summer sale almost inevitable.
The deal reportedly obliges Levante to accept any offer of €15 million or more, while Etta Eyong’s release clause stands at €30 million.

Notably, Villarreal still hold the right of first refusal, but the forward is not considering a return, as they have failed to show faith in him. This means the final say on his future will rest with Eyong himself.
Last summer, the 21-year-old made it clear that his priority was to join Barcelona, though the move never materialised.
With Robert Lewandowski’s contract nearing its end, Barça’s sporting management views him as a long-term fit for the project.
For now, Barcelona are taking a patient approach. They are aware that Premier League clubs and other Spanish sides are preparing to make concrete offers, yet the rapport between Eyong’s entourage and Barça remains strong.
The Blaugrana are confident of their position and will not rush negotiations, knowing that the player’s preference is clear.
At Levante, there is a growing sense that Barcelona will eventually make their move, even though no formal talks have begun.
One thing is certain that Etta Eyong’s name will dominate headlines once the summer transfer window opens next year.
