LaLiga’s top 20 Segunda goals include Cala, but Castellón’s Cipenga misses out | OneFootball

El Periódico Mediterráneo reports that LaLiga Hypermotion has named the season's top 20 goals in Segunda, with Castellón represented by Álex Calatrava at 17, while Brian Cipenga is a notable omission.

Calatrava's strike came on 15 February at Castalia in a 2-0 win over Deportivo. The forward curled in from outside the area on 63 minutes, sealing victory and taking Castellón top that day.

Just seven days earlier, Cipenga had completed a 0-4 victory at Valladolid with a sensational shot at the Nuevo José Zorrilla. Part of the home crowd even applauded, yet his effort did not make the top 20.

Two players feature twice in the list. David Larrubia of Málaga appears at 20 and 10, and Adri Embarba of Almería at 19 and 7.

Besides Málaga, Almería, Las Palmas, Deportivo, Racing de Santander and Mirandés also earn multiple inclusions.

Castellón do not appear as the victims of any selected goal. Neither Amir Abedzadeh nor Romain Matthys is beaten in the compilation.

Top spot goes to Leganés striker Luís Henriques de Barros Lopes, known as Duk. His direct free-kick against Andorra, a missile into the top corner, has been judged the season's best.
