Lamine Yamal & Hansi Flick the latest Barcelona pair to reach out to Dani Carvajal | OneFootball

Another two members of the first-team setup at La Liga giants Barcelona have on Sunday forwarded messages of support to Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal.

This of course comes after Carvajal was dealt a heavy blow on the injury front.

Stretchered out of Real Madrid’s victory over Villarreal on Saturday night, the Spanish international was put through a round of medical tests early this morning.

And as much confirmed the worst news possible, Carvajal having suffered ‘a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, a ruptured external collateral ligament and a ruptured popliteus tendon in his right leg’.

Messages of support, in turn, have since come pouring in for the 32-year-old, who is expected to spend the remainder of the season on the sidelines.

Amid as much, rivalries have been put firmly to one side, as even those of a Barcelona persuasion come together to send their best to Carvajal.

And, as alluded to above, on Sunday evening, two such figures added their names to the list of the defender’s well-wishers.

First, speaking in his latest post-match press conference, Hansi Flick confirmed:

“I want to wish Dani Carvajal all the best. His injury looked very serious, and he was in very good form. I can say it: from Barcelona, we wish him all the best”.

And this message on the part of Barcelona’s headmaster was soon added to by Blaugrana starlet Lamine Yamal, who took to Instagram to write:

“A lot of strength Carva, you’ll come back like the bull you are.”
