Lamine Yamal makes history in FIFPRO World XI 2025!

More than 26000 professional footballers from 68 countries have voted to select the FIFPRO World XI 2025 — the only global football award chosen exclusively by players themselves.

This year’s lineup reflects Paris Saint Germain’s remarkable treble-winning campaign with five PSG players included while Lamine Yamal has made history as the youngest footballer ever to feature in the prestigious team.

At 18 years old, the Barcelona winger broke Kylian Mbappe’s 2018 record (then aged 19) capping stunning breakthrough year in which he became both regular for club and country and one of world football’s brightest prospects.

The selection process

The voting covered the period between 15 July 2024 and 3 August 2025 requiring minimum of 30 official appearances.

Each participating player selected three outstanding performers in four positional categories — goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and forward.

The final XI includes the top-voted player in each position with the 11th spot going to the next highest rated player across all categories.
