The agent of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has named 16-year-old midfielder Guille Fernandez as a talent for fans to watch out for in 2025.
Since making his senior debut in early 2023, Yamal has established himself as one of Europe's premier wingers, dazzling for both Barcelona and Spain despite the fact he is still waiting to celebrate his 18th birthday in July.
La Masia continues to churn out young stars. Pau Cubarsi and Marc Casado are regulars in Hansi Flick's senior side this season, while 17-year-old midfielder Marc Bernal looked set for a breakthrough season before suffering a nasty injury.
Now, Yamal's agent, Jorge Mendes, has earmarked Fernandez as a potential star of Barcelona's future.
"I'm not going to talk about just one, because if I do, I'll have to talk about another and another," he told Mundo Deportivo. "The important thing is that they all follow the good examples and from there, things are sure to go well.

"I'll just give you an example, Guille, who has already been in the first team, who also has tremendous quality, a player that the best clubs in Europe were delighted with when they saw him with the Spanish youth teams.
"They have already tracked him well. He's a different kind of player, with the quality to reach the top."
Fernandez spent pre-season with Flick's side and has been an unused substitute in both La Liga and the Champions League this year after being invited to join the senior training sessions on a number of occasions.
A natural central midfielder, Fernandez has flashed an eye for goal for Barca Atletic, occasionally operating directly behind a striker to make the most of his finishing abilities.
