Landlady appeals for return of rare Leeds United Stuart Dallas flag stolen from city pub | OneFootball

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, a rare Leeds United flag featuring Stuart Dallas has been stolen from the Moot Hall Arms in Leeds city centre, and the landlady has appealed for its return.

The banner was taken at the start of June from the rear room’s 'Wall of Greats'. It is one of only five produced in Dallas’s hometown by a local firm, brought from Ireland by a regular to be displayed.

CCTV shows a man entering while the pub was open, telling staff he only wanted to check the cricket score. He sat down, unclipped the flag, concealed it in his trousers and left.

Police have since shared the footage in a public appeal. Officers were called at around 10pm on Wednesday 3 June to the Moot Hall Arms on Mill Hill, Leeds, and enquiries are ongoing. Landlady Claire does not want a witch-hunt, stressing her priority is the flag’s return. The item cannot be replaced and its donor was devastated. She urged anyone who has seen it to help return it.
