Lea Khelifi is officially a Juventus player. The French midfielder has joined the Bianconere on a two-year deal, signing until 30 June, 2028.
The 27-year-old arrives in Turin having spent last season with Nantes in her native France, and it was a campaign in which she showed real consistency, managing to score eight goals.
Throughout her career, Lea has built an impressive CV in French football, representing Metz, Paris Saint-Germain, Dijon, Montpellier, and then Nantes. She was even crowned French Cup champion with PSG in the 2021/22 season, with that silverware acting as recognition of her on-field development.
Lea came through the ranks at Metz, and it was there that she debuted as a youngster in professional football. A modern midfielder, she boasts great technique and versatility, allowing her to play in a number of positions and put herself at the disposal of her team, whether in more attacking or defensive roles.
She has also been called upon by the France Women’s National Team, being capped four times at senior level after progressing through the age-capped sides.
Now a new challenge awaits Lea in Italy, and we can’t wait to see her in black and white.
Welcome to Juventus, Lea!
