The first clear look at the yet-to-be released 2025/26 Manchester City away shirt has now surfaced for supporters on social media this week.
Manchester City’s designers and manufacturers of their kits since 2019 have been putting together preparations ahead of a brand new season, when Pep Guardiola and his squad will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing campaign.
With hopes of a serious challenge for a Premier League title, going the distance in the UEFA Champions League, and targeting domestic cup glory along the way, there is plenty to be excited about looking towards the restart of club football at the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City have already unveiled one of their new strips for the upcoming season with the traditional sky blue and white shirt featuring a sash design element for the first time on a home kit at the club.
With the possibility of further releases on the immediate horizon, and some indicating that the FIFA Club World Cup could see City launch other new shirts for the global supporter base, new details have provided the best view yet at how the club’s new away strip could look.
As exclusively revealed by ‘grhaer9’ on X, a clear image of Manchester City’s upcoming 2025/26 away shirt and shorts has now surfaced on social media, in what is likely to be a major hit among supporters for the new campaign.

The 2025/26 season could represent the first time since the Premier League title-winning campaign of 2013/14 under Manuel Pellegrini that Manchester City have worn a kit that is predominantly black with very few design elements.
Black featured heavily on Manchester City’s ‘Hacienda’ inspired away kit of 2019/20, with a multitude of colours utilised for various detailing throughout the kit, while the following campaign followed suit as the away strip was inspired by the Castlefield area of the city centre.
The understanding elsewhere with regards to the club’s third kit for the 2025/26 season is that a grey and neon green colour pallet is likely to be utilised, with a design element based on rain droplets throughout the shirt itself.
