Daniel Farke says he has a fully available squad to choose from for Leeds’ visit to Brighton, with winger Willy Gnonto back in training following his calf injury and hernia surgery.

Gnonto has not played for Leeds in over a month but could return to the squad when Farke’s side take on Brighton.

“Yes, way better, I have nothing to report, nothing to complain about, no illnesses, no injuries so everyone is training and we have a proper group, everyone is available and we have proper competition,” Farke said on his squad’s availability.

“It’s a situation I prefer much more but sadly it’s not a guarantee that we will be successful in the game. Sometimes after a tough week, you can also be successful like last week.

“But overall it’s a much better situation compared to last week. No question marks today.

“He (Gnonto) has trained for the first time. I would say it was a longer term injury with his calf problems and surgery.

“His first full training week. After being out for so long, definitely not a topic for the starting line-up, definitely not, but he had the first full training week and we will see if we perhaps even take him with us to the game.

“Lots of competition at the moment, no one is missing, so I like it.”
