Leeds United’s survival push has been powered by summer recruits, whose 36 goals lead the Premier League and set a benchmark for 49ers Enterprises.

Friday’s 3-1 win at Burnley moved Leeds to 43 points, a tally never followed by relegation in a 20-team Premier League. According to yorkshireevenpost.co.uk, it could prove that 40 is enough, with West Ham on 36 and three to play.

Anton Stach fired from 25 yards early on to calm nerves. Noah Okafor doubled the lead soon after half-time, before Dominic Calvert-Lewin prodded a third inside an hour.

The trio have 25 league goals between them, more than half of Leeds’ 46. Lukas Nmecha has six, James Justin and Sean Longstaff two each, and Jaka Bijol scored against Chelsea.

Summer arrivals account for 78 percent of Leeds’ 46 league goals, the highest total and share in the division. Among direct rivals, Tottenham have 12 from summer signings, West Ham 11 and Nottingham Forest 10, with January additions not closing the gap.

The 49ers brought in 10 first-team players, with only Sunderland recruiting more at 13 and Burnley adding 10 plus four triggered clauses. Daniel Farke’s title-winning core was overhauled, so reliance on newcomers was always likely.

Longstaff’s 97th-minute equaliser at Bournemouth, Justin’s openers against Everton and Wolves, and Bijol’s header versus Chelsea underlined that impact. With three games left, the haul should rise towards 40 and the challenge is to sustain it while adding instant-impact signings this summer.
