Leeds United agree free transfer for Harry Wilson, medical set as first summer addition nears

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign Fulham forward Harry Wilson on a free transfer, with a medical planned.

The Wales international almost joined late last summer, but Fulham reversed course, keeping the 29-year-old at Craven Cottage for the 2025/26 campaign, his final contracted season.

Despite attempts to keep him, Wilson allowed his contract to run down. Several clubs showed interest once the window opened, yet Leeds have won the race.

He fits Leeds’ brief for a right winger and No 10 hybrid and adds set-piece quality. Completing the medical would finalise the move.

Leeds are also pursuing Germany international Julian Brandt, another free agent this summer.

Talks continue with Southampton for midfielder Shea Charles after an opening offer of around £20m was rejected.
