Leeds United have named their travelling party for a pre-season tour in the United States, facing Wrexham, Sunderland and Liverpool. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Noah Okafor is not included after being given an extended break following Switzerland’s World Cup quarter-finals.

Daniel Farke’s squad will be based at Red Bull’s new training facility in Morristown, New Jersey. They will fly to Tampa and Chicago for the Wrexham and Liverpool fixtures.

Four senior players are absent from the list, Largie Ramazani, Joe Gelhardt, Max Wober and Jack Harrison. They are not part of the group heading across the Atlantic.

Valencia retain interest in Ramazani after his loan there last season. He made 27 appearances, scoring six and creating one, and is almost certain to leave Elland Road this summer. A permanent switch has not been ruled out, the player is keen and talks have taken place, but no agreement has been found.

Gelhardt helped Hull City win promotion while on loan last season and last featured for Leeds in October 2024. It is not yet clear if he will return to the Tigers, but his future lies elsewhere.

Wober’s 2025/26 loan at Werder Bremen was wrecked by injuries, which appear to have cooled interest in a permanent deal. He had spoken of hoping to take part in pre-season, yet his omission from the tour suggests he too will depart.

For Harrison, a return to MLS would not be a surprise and he has reportedly held talks with New England Revolution. He left on loan for Fiorentina in January, although a permanent Serie A move has not materialised.

The travelling group blends senior players with Under-21 prospects, with some to link up later after World Cup duty. Leeds also noted that pre-season shirt numbers may differ from those used once the Premier League begins.
