Leeds end an impressive Premier League return at relegation-threatened West Ham on Sunday, a final-day trip to the London Stadium. Daniel Farke’s side have pride and a possible climb to play for, while the hosts must win and hope Tottenham Hotspur lose against Everton to stay up.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Farke said on Friday the injury picture remains tricky, with Sean Longstaff joining six other absentees after the 1-0 win over Brighton. Even so, a couple of key defenders could be available.
In goal, Karl Darlow impressed against Brighton and has steadied things again. He would head into any contract talks in a strong position.
Joe Rodon has kept levels high since safety was confirmed and has looked every inch a Premier League defender. Jaka Bijol excelled last weekend and may need to match that, with West Ham chasing a result and Taty Castellanos in form.
Pascal Struijk returned to training on Friday after a hip issue and could feature. That would be a harsh call on Sebastiaan Bornauw, who was solid against Brighton.
On the flank, Jayden Bogle is also back in training after a hamstring problem and could play if fit, with Dan James struggling as cover. Sunday may also be a chance for possible summer departures to say their goodbyes.
