Leeds United’s first FA Cup semi-final in 39 years ended in a 1-0 loss to Chelsea, Enzo Fernandez deciding it with a first-half header. According to Leeds Live, Noah Okafor earned the highest mark in an otherwise modest set of ratings.

Brenden Aaronson had earlier gone clean through, only for Robert Sanchez to block with his leg. On 23 minutes, Fernandez steered in a pinpoint cross, the Chelsea captain supplying the delivery, to beat Lucas Perri. The hosts also struck the post before the interval.

Daniel Farke switched to a back four at half-time, introducing Joe Rodon and Anton Stach. Leeds improved after the break and enjoyed longer spells in attack, though they remained vulnerable to counters. Stach drew a save from Sanchez within minutes of coming on but clear chances were scarce for more than 34,000 inside the ground.

Okafor was given 7, with Gabriel Gudmundsson and Ethan Ampadu also on 7. Perri received 6, as did James Justin, Jaka Bijol, Pascal Strujik and Ao Tanaka, while Jayden Bogle scored 5. Brenden Aaronson was marked 5 and Dominic Calvert-Lewin also 5.

From the bench, Rodon was handed 6 and Stach 6, with Wilfried Gnonto and Lukas Nmecha on 5 and Sean Longstaff not rated. Daniel Farke was given 5, his changes lifting Leeds without altering the outcome.
