Leeds United relaunch official podcast with Ethan Ampadu as first guest | OneFootball

Leeds United have relaunched their official podcast, with club captain Ethan Ampadu set to appear on episode one on Tuesday 24th February.

The club said in a statement that a 10-episode series will run weekly, with full shows on LUTV and YouTube and audio on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other major platforms. LUTV subscribers and YouTube members will receive 24-hour priority access each Tuesday morning.

Filmed at Elland Road, host Emma Jones will be joined by current players and club legends. The opener features Leeds favourites Stuart Dallas and Michael Bridges, with Ampadu named as the first guest.

The Official Leeds United podcast has been inactive since May 2024, its previous episode landing days before the play-off final defeat to Southampton. Since then, Daniel Farke’s side have won the Championship title with 100 points and now sit 15th in the Premier League.

Leeds hope the rebooted series aligns with a push for Premier League safety and possibly an FA Cup run. The Whites beat Birmingham City on penalties last weekend to reach the fifth round, where they will host Norwich City.

Beating the Canaries, who are in a strong vein of form, would leave Leeds one win from a Wembley semi-final and raise hopes of a first cup since 1972. Farke and his squad also aim to be closer to top-flight survival by then, with a current six-point gap to 18th-placed West Ham.
