Leeds United head into a second successive Premier League season, with focus turning to how their squad’s market worth compares with next term’s rivals. The landscape shifts as Coventry City, Ipswich Town and Hull City come up, while West Ham, Burnley and Wolves drop out.
According to Transfermarkt, the latest estimated valuations offer a snapshot of the division’s pecking order. Below is the leading bracket by squad value.
Newly-promoted Leeds finished 14th, eight points clear of the drop, collecting 47 points as third-bottom West Ham went down with 39. After November’s 3-2 defeat at Manchester City, Daniel Farke’s side lost only five further league games.
The Whites ended two points shy of Everton and Newcastle United, sat two ahead of Crystal Palace, three clear of Nottingham Forest and four above Tottenham Hotspur, who survived on the final day.
The top six by squad value are Manchester City €1.32bn, Arsenal €1.23bn and Chelsea €1.16bn.
Next come Liverpool €1.02bn, Tottenham Hotspur €811m and Manchester United €747.40m.
