Fans are encouraged to applaud in the 67th minute for Colin Wood, who died before the last home game against Manchester United on 4 January aged 67. His family will attend.

Born in Cardiff in March 1950, Yorath joined as an apprentice and signed professional terms in 1967 aged 17. He became a regular in 1972/73, making 183 appearances and scoring 11 goals before joining Coventry City in 1976.

He helped win the 1973/74 league title and earned runners-up medals in the European Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup and FA Cup. He was the first Welshman to play in a European Cup final, Leeds lost 2-0 to Bayern Munich in Paris in May 1975.

After leaving Elland Road, he played 160 times combined for Coventry and Tottenham Hotspur, then had short spells with Vancouver Whitecaps, Bradford City and Swansea City. He won 59 Wales caps, scored two goals and often captained his country.

After retirement, Yorath managed for 23 years, winning a Fourth Division play-off with Swansea and taking Lebanon to third at the 1997 Arab Games. BBC presenter Gabby Logan, her siblings and other family members will be at Elland Road on Saturday.
