Leeds United have been linked with a summer move for Sunderland forward Wilson Isidor amid a reduced role this season.
Football Insider reports that Leeds are monitoring the 25-year-old’s situation ahead of the window, with attacking reinforcements expected as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.
Isidor was influential in Sunderland’s promotion and began this campaign brightly, but minutes have dwindled since Brian Brobbey became Régis Le Bris’ preferred central striker.
He has not started a Premier League match since early December and has one goal in his last 24 appearances. He still has five Premier League goals this season.
Leeds are said to want more competition up front, with Daniel Farke expected to strengthen his options. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor are already in the picture, with Isidor reportedly on the radar.
Everton and Nottingham Forest were credited with interest in January, while Crystal Palace and Burnley were said to have explored late-window loan possibilities.
Sunderland resisted weakening their squad mid-season while focused on safety, but could listen if suitable bids arrive this summer. Isidor is under contract until 2028, and he was valued at about £25m in January. A lower figure may be needed for any exit.
His situation forms part of a broader attacking review before Sunderland’s second Premier League campaign under Le Bris. Brobbey’s rise has altered the pecking order, and sporting director Florent Ghisolfi is expected to explore further forward additions.
