According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, USG goalkeeper Kjell Scherpen is not an active target for Leeds, and while Pavel Sulc is known to the club he is not being pursued. The report also says Brandt talks are ongoing after the player’s father visited, though nothing is close with other clubs involved.

Scherpen impressed last season, recording 21 clean sheets in 2025-26 while featuring in the Champions League. Leeds’ goalkeeping plans follow Karl Darlow’s departure to Manchester United.

It is unlikely Muharemovic will link up with the squad immediately ahead of pre-season matches against Wrexham and Liverpool in the United States.

Leeds continue to work on goalkeeper and playmaker options over the coming weeks, with further movement possible as pre-season progresses.
