Lucas Chevalier has had quite the year. He signed for PSG last summer as one of the most in demand young goalkeepers in Europe. But a poor start to the season saw him eventually lose his place, and now the Parisians are apparently keen to sell him.

Chevalier ready to move on, multiple teams interested

We’ve hard a few rumours as the months have gone by – now they’re getting serious. Tanzi Loic of L’Equipe has today put a few names out there.

He says that Besiktas have made strong enquiries, and also notes that Tottenham have been linked too.

It’s an interesting position for PSG to be in. It’s hard to see them getting their money back, and a loan that allows Chevalier to find some form and improve his standing could be the smart one, long term.

There are certainly no cash flow issues at the Parc des Princes, so the club are in a good position to gamble rather than cut their losses right away.

In other news…

Mateus Fernandes is attracting a lot of attention from top clubs this summer, and PSG have started to be put in that same bracket. We’re not yet sure how serious the interest is.

PSG are looking to sell playing including Randal Kolo Muani this summer, but are in no hurry to get rid of the striker.
