Leroy Sané nears Galatasaray move, Arsenal out of the race | OneFootball

Leroy Sané (29) is nearing a move to Turkish side Galatasaray, according to a report from L’Équipe.

Sané has been in talks over a renewal at Bayern Munich. The German’s contract with the Bavarian club expires this summer and, not only will he not extend his deal, he also looks likely to leave without competing in the FIFA Club World Cup.

The former Manchester City winger was initially expected to take part in the novel tournament, however, he ultimately looks set to skip it amid advanced talks with Galatasaray. Talks have ramped up in recent hours and there is an offer on the table worth between €10-11m per season. The contract would run for three years.

Sané is seriously considering accepting the deal, especially given that Galatasaray will be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season. Previously, Arsenal had been interested, however, L’Équipe understands that the Premier League side opted to drop out of the race.
