LFP asks Paris FC to host PSG trophy presentation at Jean-Bouin | OneFootball

According to L'Équipe, the LFP has asked Paris FC to host PSG’s Ligue 1 trophy presentation at Jean-Bouin on Sunday, after the clubs meet in the 34th and final round. The title is not yet secured mathematically, but is not expected to elude the European champions.

At PFC, the view is unanimous that this is not a good idea. The promoted club had already planned end-of-season festivities, including tributes to out-of-contract players and a fireworks display.

PSG have already been refused permission by the Paris police prefecture to stage celebrations at the Parc des Princes after the match.

The club were invited last week by Paris City Hall to celebrate the title. While PSG have accepted, Luis Enrique will have the final say depending on the players’ fatigue.

A decision will be taken after Wednesday’s 21:00 match at Lens, the result of which could confirm PSG as champions.
