The 2026 Conmebol Libertadores and Sudamericana group stages start on Tuesday, with increased knockout-stage payouts and record totals on offer.

According to Globo.com, the Libertadores champions will collect USD 25 million for the final, up USD one million on last year, and could amass USD 40 million overall, about R$ 206 million. Amounts through the semi-finals and for the runners-up are unchanged from 2025 in the Libertadores.

In the Sudamericana, the final now pays USD 10 million, up from USD six point five million, with a potential total of USD 12.9 million, more than R$ 70 million. The runners-up receive USD two point five million, up from USD two million.

Conmebol will again pay bonuses for group-stage wins. Libertadores victories are worth USD 340,000 per match, up from USD 330,000 in 2025, while Sudamericana wins pay USD 125,000, up from USD 115,000.
