Libertadores last-16 draw pairs Flamengo with Cruzeiro | OneFootball

Conmebol conducted the Libertadores last-16 draw on Friday 29 May, pairing Flamengo with Cruzeiro for a place in the quarter-finals.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the teams listed on the right will host the second legs. As the best overall side from the group stage, Flamengo will decide their ties at the Maracanã through to the semi-finals. The first leg will be at the Mineirão.

The last-16 ties are: Estudiantes (ARG) v Universidad Católica (CHI), Mirassol v LDU (EQU), Fluminense v Independiente Rivadavia (ARG), Tolima (COL) v Independiente Del Valle (EQU).

Also: Cruzeiro v Flamengo, Platense (ARG) v Coquimbo Unido (CHI), Palmeiras v Cerro Porteño (PAR), Rosario Central (ARG) v Corinthians.

The calendar pauses for roughly two months due to the World Cup, with the last-16 scheduled between 11 and 20 August.

Flamengo enter as defending champions, having beaten Palmeiras 1-0 in 2025, and are chasing a fifth continental crown after titles in 1981, 2019 and 2022.
