Nice’s 2026 wage bill shows selective rises linked to Europa League participation, while Ineos’s gradual pullback should mean a tighter pay structure ahead. According to L'Équipe, some salaries only increased because of Europe.
The average gross monthly salary stands at €98,000, only slightly down on last year’s €110,000, a modest decline inflated by European-related uplifts.
A sharper fall should follow next year, with most of the biggest earners scheduled to depart this summer. Recent arrivals are on packages two to three times lower than those signed a few years ago.
Top of the chart, Diop earns €350,000, followed by Cho on €220,000 and Sanson on €205,000. Clauss, Ndayishimiye and Wahi are each on €200,000.
Boudaoui is at €170,000, Ndombele and Bard are on €150,000, and Vanhoutte earns €100,000. Nice are covering part of Wahi’s €340,000 salary at Eintracht Frankfurt.
