Shaken by disappointing results at the start of the season, Habib Beye remains at the helm of the Stade Rennais technical staff, despite conceding a draw against Toulouse (2-2) on Wednesday evening in Matchday 10 of Ligue 1.

It was president Arnaud Pouille who confirmed the news on Ligue1+: “Yes, yes, yes, we just told the squad. Everyone knows, we need results, we need to move forward. There was some substance tonight, still a bit of distress, a bit of fragility, but we're going to keep working together and find solutions,” he confirmed in comments reported by L’Equipe.

The Senegalese coach, now more than ever on the hot seat, knows what to expect: “The deadline is Strasbourg (next Sunday). We’ll prepare for Strasbourg with the energy we’ve shown all week. It’s been a pretty crazy week with everything we’ve been through. That’s how it is, that’s what a coach has to go through. The president spoke to the players, it was a very positive message, he saw the team’s level tonight.”
