Liverpool are set to sign French forward Hugo Ekitiké from Eintracht Frankfurt after reportedly agreeing on a deal.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League champions have agreed on an initial €90 million (£78 million) fee for Ekitiké which could rise by a further €5 million with add-ons.
The France youth international, who had previously been linked with a move to Newcastle United, will sign a six-year contract with the club.
Ekitiké initially joined Eintracht on loan from Paris Saint-Germain for the 2023/24 season, scoring four goals in 16 appearances.
The 23-year-old's form greatly improved last season after a permanent switch to the German side bagging 22 goals and assisting 12 more in 48 appearances for the club.
Should the deal be completed then Arne Slot's side will have spent just under £250 million this summer not including the already-agreed signing of goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
