Andoni Iraola is the new Liverpool manager.

Even before Arne Slot was sacked by Fenway Sports Group, the Reds' fanbase knew that they'd see an awful lot of changes this summer.

They finished fifth in the Premier League which was a far worse outcome compared to their title win last term.

So, with their poor performance in mind, it's not hard to understand why every other day a new player is being linked with Liverpool.

And, since there are so many other clubs also looking to improve their ranks, bidding wars are likely to become a regular occurrence, especially when those players are already Premier League proven.

Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal may all go head-to-head for Eli Junior Kroupi

Most of the Premier League's players are world class.

Of course, there are some who have snuck their way into teams but, more often than not, the Premier League's players are solid.

Indeed, a lot of this is due to the amount of money pumped into England's top flight with some of the smaller teams in the league even having the best players in their position.

Liverpool are among the Premier League's big six and, no matter how well or poorly they perform, they have a certain pull which entices players.

This has been the same for many years and, despite Bournemouth just earning qualification to the Europa League, Eli Junior Kroupi is being linked with a move away after his more than impressive debut season.

"Manchester United are ready to go toe-to-toe with Premier League champions Arsenal in a blockbuster £80million fight for Bournemouth teenage sensation Eli Junior Kroupi, SportsBoom can exclusively reveal," they wrote.

"The Red Devils have joined the growing queue of admirers chasing the France Under-21 striker after his stunning breakthrough season on the south coast, with Old Trafford chiefs convinced he could develop into one of Europe's deadliest forwards.

"United are desperate to inject more firepower into their attack and have identified Kroupi as one of the most exciting young talents on the market.

"But landing the 19-year-old will be anything but straightforward.

"Arsenal are also plotting a move for the Bournemouth starlet after watching him light up the Premier League last season, setting up a potential transfer tug-of-war between two of English football's biggest clubs."

Liverpool could have an advantage to sign Eli Junior Kroupi over their rivals

Now that Slot is gone, players may be more willing to join Liverpool this summer.

And, since Iraola has been playing an interesting brand of football while in charge of Bournemouth, there's no reason why some of his former players wouldn't want to link back up with him.

Kroupi has been one of the Cherries' best players this term and, even though the starting price of £80 million is a lot of money for a 19-year-old, the fact that he's already proven he can do it in the Premier League shows how good he actually is.

Other players such as Yan Diomande are also being linked with a Liverpool move but, since he's never played in the Premier League, he's an even bigger risk than someone such as Kroupi.

But, the fact that Iraola already knows how to get the best out of the Frenchman and the 19-year-old already knows Iraola's style makes it seem like a more than smart transfer.

Liverpool have several areas among their ranks that they need to improve but, if Kroupi is available and Liverpool can sign him, it's something that Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards should seriously explore.
