In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Liverpool are hoping to land Newcastle United winger Anthony Gordon. It has been stated that the Reds are eyeing a move to acquire the services of the English wide player next summer.
Gordon is having a productive campaign at the Tyneside club after he put in a string of impressive displays for them in the final third. The 24-year-old has banged in 14 goals and earned five assists in 37 matches for Newcastle this season on all fronts.
The Liverpool-born talent is currently among the best wingers in the Premier League. Thus, the Reds would do well to lure him to Anfield at the end of this campaign.
His current deal at St. James’ Park will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for Liverpool to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Gordon has got the pace to cause a lot of headaches for his marker out in the wide areas. He has got the vision to create a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The English talent can contribute by scoring and creating his fair share of goals up top. Gordon mainly plays as a left-winger but can also serve as a centre-forward or as a right-sided wide player if asked to do so. He has got a wealth of experience in the Premier League and won’t take much time to adjust to life at the Merseyside club.
Gordon would no doubt enhance the quality of Liverpool head coach Arne Slot’s frontline. He is more than capable of earning a regular first-team spot at the Merseyside club in the coming seasons.
At 24, Gordon has got his best years ahead of him, which makes him a dream option for the Reds to consider at the end of this campaign. He will also serve as an ideal, long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah at the Merseyside club in the long run.
