In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Liverpool are showing interest in recruiting Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. It has been claimed that the Reds are eager to get a deal done for the French talent, who prefers to stay and fight for his place at the Madrid club.

Camavinga’s Decent Form In Spanish Football

Camavinga served as a useful squad player for Los Blancos in the previous campaign when he put in a run of impressive displays for them at the centre of the park. The 23-year-old featured in 43 matches for Real Madrid last season, scoring two goals and earning one assist in the process across all competitions.

The French sensation is currently among the most talented central midfielders in La Liga. Hence, it is no wonder that the Reds are hoping to get a deal over the line for him later this year.

His current deal at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for Liverpool to sign him on the cheap this off-season.

Will Camavinga Be A Good Option For Liverpool Boss Andoni Iraola?

Camavinga is a tough-tackling midfielder who can sense the danger well to secure possession back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the offensive and is a tidy passer as well from midfield.

The French sensation mainly operates as a box-to-box midfielder but can also serve as a left-back or as a centre-back if asked to do so by his manager. However, only time will tell whether he can adapt to the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League if the Reds manage to bring him on board in this transfer window.

Camavinga would add more bite and steel to Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola’s midfield. He is good enough to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Merseyside club in the coming seasons.

At 23, Camavinga has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a decent option for Liverpool to consider in this transfer window. However, Iraola has to give him some time to adjust to life at Anfield before he can get the best out of the player. Still, Liverpool would do well to get him on board this summer.
