Liverpool honoured Mohamed Salah at Anfield ahead of his final game for the club, against Brentford on Sunday at 17:00, closing a nine-year spell. According to L'Équipe, the 33-year-old forward will leave at full time after a tribute that charted his impact since 2017.

The celebration revisited his 441 appearances and 257 goals, with Salah on the pitch alongside his two daughters. A framed image of a slaloming run against Arsenal featured, as did the penalty he struck early in the second of his three Champions League finals, the 2-0 win over Tottenham in June 2019.

Salah said playing at Anfield for nine years felt special, describing the love, support and a unique bond with supporters. He reflected that a fierce desire to win drove him on, and that he truly believed the team could achieve it.

Across his Liverpool career he collected nine trophies, including league titles in 2020 and 2025, despite a final season that ebbed and flowed. His eldest daughter closed the montage by acknowledging how hard it is to leave and pledging they would remain Reds forever.

He was also honoured during his final training session on Saturday, while Scottish team-mate Andrew Robertson, also set to depart, received his own video tribute. Supporters added their applause, and You’ll Never Walk Alone will carry extra emotion when it rings out on Sunday as the Reds remain well placed to secure Champions League football next season.
